WPBS-TV Presents Special Programming in November for Native American Heritage Month

WATERTOWN, NY (November 6, 2023) – To celebrate Indigenous (Native American) Heritage Month in November, WPBS-TV continues episodes of the Canadian drama Little Bird and Season 2 of Native America November 6th through November 20th, 2023. Episodes Include:

LITTLE BIRD: The Land That Takes You (November 6 at 10:00 pm)

Patti Little Bird is desperate to get her kids back, but she doesn’t know where they have been taken.

NATIVE AMERICA: Women Rule (November 7 at 9:00 pm)

Celebrate the Native women drawing upon deep traditions to transform our modern world.

LITTLE BIRD: Burning Down the House (November 13 at 10:00 pm)

Esther finds members of her family who help her put together the pieces of the past. She returns home to Montreal to confront Golda, her adoptive mother.

NATIVE AMERICA: Language is Life (November 14 at 8:00 pm)

From Hollywood films on the big screen to sacred writing deep within the Earth, from long-lost voices captured in wax cylinders, Native people are fighting to keep their languages and ways of life alive.

LITTLE BIRD: I Want My Mom (November 20 at 9:00 pm)

Esther returns to the prairies and continues her pursuit of uncovering her past. Reconnecting the severed ties of a broken family is not easy.

LITTLE BIRD: Bineshi Kwe (November 20 at 10:00 pm)

After much love and sorrow, the Little Bird family come together to mourn death and celebrate life.
