Seeking Public Affairs Host for WPBS TV in Watertown
WPBS-TV, an equal opportunity employer, seeks an energetic, engaging, and relatable show host to be our on-air talent and appear on screen to front a fresh, new weekly Current Affairs program that begins airing in Northern New York and Eastern Ontario this spring. The right candidate must have past experience as a show host, journalist, or television anchor and be able to conduct taped interviews in our studio, as well as wraps and stand ups throughout the show. Strong on-camera presence and a crisp, professional appearance is a must. The position is contract based, with the host spending up to one full day at the studio in Watertown taping. A flat day rate of $165 is offered, and covers talent cost and transportation.
