WPBS Celebrates the New Year with Special Programming

WATERTOWN, NY; December 22, 2022 – As we celebrate the start of a brand new year, and look forward to brighter days ahead, WPBS rings in 2023 with some very special programming, including:

December 31
UNITED IN SONG 2022: RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR TOGETHER (8:00 PM) Ring in the New Year with music that celebrates our nation’s diversity — from folk and rock to opera, country to hip hop, Broadway to bluegrass and beyond. This special performance also reflects on what brings us together as Americans.

January 1
LONDON’S NEW YEAR’S DAY PARADE 2023 (7:00 AM) Now in its fifth decade, this cherished turn-of-year tradition brings good old-fashioned fun to the U.K. capital. The event, which paused “marching time” during the pandemic, returns to its iconic parade route through the ancient City of Westminster.

LONDON’S NEW YEAR’S DAY PARADE 2023 | WELCOME BACK TO LONDON (10:30 AM) This special showcases the tremendous effort that goes into London’s annual New Years Day Parade and how so many groups and individuals come together to make the event spectacular.
