The development team has researched alternative approaches and consulted with other non-profits including PBS stations across the country, and have now redesigned the auction so that it may be held safely. WPBS is proud to bring a new, fresh hybrid of this year’s auction with both an online and live-on-air event during the following times: Online auction preview will be available on wpbstv.org/auction beginning September 1st. Online bidding opens September 14th, also on wpbstv.org/auction. Assistance will be available for those who are unable to access the guide. On-air presentation and bidding over 5 nights from Thursday, September 24th through Monday, September 28th.” We will be using a software program, ClickBid, that will guide us through this process and handle all bidding virtually. Currently, we are pre-taping some corporate and community spots to highlight their involvement and support.
