Viewers Across Northern New York Can Now Watch WPBS Live – Online

WPBS, the PBS affiliate serving Northern New York and Eastern Ontario is now streaming live on the Internet and is available at no cost to viewers across the WPBS coverage area in Northern New York. The full WPBS program schedule can be accessed on the WPBS App (Play Store and iTunes); or at wpbstv.org/program-schedule.

“As a public service, WPBS is committed to serving all residents of the North Country, as we have done for over 60 years, and to making our trusted content freely available to everyone on as many platforms as possible. Launching this new livestream is a big step and will help us reach and serve the community as never before” said Mark Prasuhn, President & General Manager. “I want to thank my colleagues here at our station and at PBS headquarters in Washington DC for their hard work in making this happen.”

The WPBS program schedule includes a wide array of high-quality content spanning many genres including children’s programming (Sesame Street, Daniel Tiger’s  Neighborhood, Wild Kratts, Clifford the Big Red Dog), costume dramas and literary adaptations (Sanditon, Little Women, Beecham House, Victoria), murder mysteries (Vera, Father Brown, Death in Paradise, Midsomer Murders), trusted news and public affairs (PBS NewsHour, Washington Week, BBC World News, Amanpour and Company), award-winning documentaries (Frontline, American Experience), science and nature, American history, health and wellness, how-to and leisure, and stories from and about our local region.
