Janet has over 30 years of experience and owned her own bakery on Long Island. Janet has taught cake decorating for Wilton Company and taught decorating at a school in Hong Kong. Janet is past president of Long Island Master Baker’s Association and served on the Board of Directors for the New York State Bakers and Retail Bakers of America! Keep your tips and bag after the workshop and take your beautifully decorated cupcakes home! WPBS Create Classroom is a series of interactive, “how-to” workshops where you can learn a new technique or brush-up on an existing skill and help support WPBS-TV at the same time! Each class is lead by an experienced instructor and showcases a unique skill or craft including glass blowing, baking, painting and more. WPBS-TV started Create Classrooms to promote Create TV (16.2 and 18.2) and to engage, teach, and entertain our two-nation community. Proceeds are utilized to provide thought-provoking, enriching and informative TV.
