First Nations Experience (FNX) Available for Streaming in Northern New York on WPBS-TV

WATERTOWN, NY (November 4, 2022) – In celebration of Indigenous People’s Day – celebrated on October 10, 2022 – and in recognition of Native American Heritage Month in November, WPBS is pleased to now offer FNX Live programming directly from its website at wpbstv.org/fnx – in beta phase (the stream may take a minute or two to load). Streaming FNX content through the WPBS website is available now to viewers across Northern New York.

First Nations Experience Television, or FNX, is an Indigenous media source that educates and empowers the community through greater engagement, awareness and understanding of Indigenous cultures and peoples. Its mission is to prove the global audience with authentic Native American and World Indigenous educational content that informs, inspires and entertains. FNX is the only national broadcast television network in the U.S. exclusively devoted to Native American and world Indigenous content.

On November 8th, 2022 – FNX and ICT (formerly Indian Country Today) will host a 3-hour live election special – covering races, issues, and multi-partisan candidates from all over Indian County. The special broadcast will feature a live broadcast with Aliya Chavez (Kewa Pueblo) and Mark Trahant (Shoshone/Bannock) and will include short interviews with candidates and community leaters. This election special will be available for streaming on the WPBS website at wpbstv.org/fnx.
