WPBS PRESENTS FOLKLORE & FROST: SPIRITS OF SYLVAN BEACH

WPBS-DT, presents their newest production, in a full length feature film, “Folklore and Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach,” investigates the ghost stories of Sylvan Beach Amusement Park with a fun and frightening theatrical presentation.   Using all local actors of all ages, this installment of Folklore & Frost takes you on a roller-coaster of a ride with twists and turns that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Rated PG-13. Tune-in for the broadcast premiere Monday, October 22nd at 10pm and again on October 27th at 10pm. “Folklore & Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach” will also be available to watch online at wpbstv.org/watch.

“Folklore & Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach” (rated PG-13) will also be making its debut with free screenings at three theaters. The premiere screening will be located at the Kallet Civic Center, Oneida, NY on Saturday, October 13th at 5pm. Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the producer and other panelists. A cash bar is available to guests 21 and over. The first 250 people to arrive will receive a free candy apple! Seating is limited, RSVP online at wpbstv.org/tickets. WPBS-DT will also be hosting a screening at the Capitol Theatre, Rome, NY on Wednesday, October 17th at 7pm with a Q&A following the film.

The Black River Drive-In will be screening a double feature “Folklore & Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach” followed by “Folklore & Frost: Haunted Happenings” on Friday, October 26th at 8pm. The showing is free to the public with limited menu items available at the concession stand, while supplies last.

“Folklore & Frost: Spirits of Sylvan Beach” is sponsored by Oneida County Tourism.
