WPBS-TV SPRING FLING MEMBERSHIP DRIVE & WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH

The Spring Fling Member Drive begins with a pop with specials such as America’s Home Cooking “B” is for Bacon at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 4; Tom Jones Soundstage Special at 4:30 pm; Lawrence Welk’s Milestones & Memories at 6 pm; and Hamilton’s America at 9 pm (a behind the scenes look at the making of Hamilton).  Other programs not-to-be-missed are the all-new Daniel O’Donnell:  Back Home Again on Sunday, March 5 at 6:30 pm; Ken Burns:  America’s Storyteller on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:30 pm; Roy Orbison:  Black & White Night 30 on Friday, March 10 at 9 pm; Magic Moments:  Best of 50’s Pop on March 12 at 7:30 pm followed by I Miss Downton Abbey at 9:30 pm.  Tune into the Spring Fling with WPBS and enjoy old and new favorites alike!

March is also Women’s History Month and WPBS-TV celebrates the contribution of Women throughout History with specials such as:

American Masters:  Loretta Lynn on Friday, March 3 at 9 pm

American Masters:  Patsy Cline Monday, March 6 at 9:30 & Sunday, March 12 at 1:30 pm

American Masters:  The Women’s List on Monday, March 13 at 9 pm

Perfect 36:  When Women Won the Vote on Monday, March 13 at 11:30 pm & Sunday, March 26 at 3:30 pm

Josiah Allen’s Wife:  Marietta Holley on Monday, March 20 at 9 pm & Sunday, March 26 at 4 pm

Georgia O’Keefe:  A Woman on Paper on Monday, March 20 at 11:30 pm and Sunday, March 26 at 3 pm

American Masters:  Dorothea Lange Grab a Hunk of Lightening on Tuesday, March 21 at 8 pm
