In his address to the United Nations General Assembly, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told world leaders that Russia is weaponizing food and energy while also abducting children.
“We know the names of tens of thousands of children and have evidence on hundreds of thousands of others kidnapped by Russia in the occupied areas of Ukraine and later deported,” Zelenskyy said at the U.N. General Assembly’s annual meeting in New York.
“This is clearly a genocide,” the Ukrainian leader urged.
