Special Counsel Jack Smith announced Friday that Donald Trump has been indicted by a federal grand jury on 37 felony counts stemming from the Justice Department’s investigation into how the former president handled classified documents after he left office.
“We have one set of laws in this country and they apply to everyone,” Smith said.
