WATCH: How the 2020 election may be viewed in the future


PBS NewsHour correspondent William Brangham asked Professor Beverly Gage, who teaches American history at Yale University, how the future will see 2020 and the confluence of events leading up to, and surrounding the presidential election. Gage said this may be a “hinge point for how we think about our [political] parties and who’s in them.”
