A mass shooting on the eve of the Fourth of July left five people dead in Philadelphia. It was just one of several U.S. cities that saw violence on the holiday. The suspect, 40-year-old Kimbrady Carriker, was arraigned Wednesday on a host of charges, including five counts of first-degree murder.
