As the war between Israel and Hamas passes the three-month mark, PBS News Weekly takes a look at where the conflict now stands.
Concerns about the war widening increased as Iranian proxies launched strikes from Lebanon into Israel and Iran itself launched airstrikes into Iraq, Syria and Pakistan.
This all comes under a backdrop of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yet again rejecting calls for a Palestinian state in a post-war scenario–something the U.S. has called for.
Meanwhile, civilian casualties in Gaza continued to mount while none of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are fully functional and fewer than half are operational at all.
