One year ago, supporters of President Donald Trump breached the U.S. Capitol building in an attempt to disrupt the democratic process. When the violent mob broke into the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 2021, lawmakers that were inside scrambled for safety. New York Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries was one of those lawmakers, and joins Judy Woodruff to recollect the day’s harrowing events.
