In this excerpt from the Independent Lens documentary Limited Partnership, Filipino American Richard Adams and Australian Tony Sullivan talk about how they first met and fell in love in the early 1970s in Los Angeles, and how immigration laws at the time gave them no rights as a gay couple. They were men without a country.
