401: Spring Wall-eye – Dave ‘Rocky’ Rockwell
Host, Don Meissner, and Dave ‘Rocky’ Rockwell head to the Redfield Reservoir in Oswego County, New York, for spring fishing . The pair navigate unseasonably high water levels on a beautiful sunny day, looking for wall-eye. Along the way, Rocky shares his long and decorated military career, which encompassed multiple wars, including Vietnam.
402: A Cornucopia of Catfish – Thomas Davis
Host, Don Meissner, hunts for monster catfish near Chaumont Bay, New York, with army veteran, Thomas Davis and catfish New York State record holder, Captain Eric Scordo. The group tangles with some powerful catfish on a cool spring day.
403: A Summer Salmon – Hailey Deritis
Host, Don Meissner, fishes for salmon with Coast Guardsman, Hailey Deritis. The two meet up with Captain Ed Monette of Cannonball Charters, and his First Mate, Hunter Wosjlaw, to fish the waters of Lake Ontario near downtown Oswego, New York.
404: Summer of the Musky – Laquan Smith
Host, Don Meissner, teams up with his good friend, Rust Eddy, to take guest Laquan Smith on a muskie fishing trip. On a hot, sunny summer day, the group floats down one of the small forest rivers near Canton, New York, in search of the elusive predator. Don also recalls some of his favorite small water Muskie catches from previous years.
405: Coming Home – Corey Semo
Don Meissner enjoys a summer day fishing for bass on the Black River near Deferiet, New York, with Marine veterans, Corey Semo and Justin Walts. The three spend the day fishing a few of Corey and Justin’s favorite childhood fishing spots and swapping stories.
406: A West Point Experience – Scott Granger & Doug Rothenbush
Host, Don Meissner, travels to Southern New York on a warm summer day to fish with retired West Point Professors Scott Granger and Doug Rothenbush. The three spend the day catching fish, as the professors share West Point’s story and its positive impact on the lives of young men and women.
407: Back to My Roots – Don Meissner
Host, Don Meissner, returns to his childhood home in Wellsville New York with his good friend Rust Eddy. The two spend their day fishing for trout and bass, and Rust learns about Don’s childhood fishing on the Genesee river; his father who served during World War II; and why Don joined the Navy.
408: A Taste of the Wild – Wild Bill Locie
Host, Don Meissner, teams up with his old friend and Vietnam veteran, Wild Bill Locie, to fish for salmon. The two spend the day on Lake Ontario near downtown Oswego, New York, with Captain Ed Monette of Cannonball Charters and First mate Hunter Wosjlaw. Then Bill, who once was a chef, cooks up a special treat for Don and some other familiar faces.
409: West Coast Coastie – Lindsey Neumann Part 1
In part one of this two-part episode, Host, Don Meissner, and Marine veteran, Justin Walts, team up to take guest Lindsey Neumann fishing for large mouth bass and tiger muskie on Hyde Lake near Theresa, New York. Stationed in Seattle Washington, Lindsey serves as a Lieutenant Junior Grade in Coast Guard. As the day goes on, she learns how to be a pro angler, while telling Don how her eight years in the Coastguard have impacted and shaped her life.
