WATERTOWN, NY (April 21, 2025) – WPBS, the PBS affiliate serving Northern New York and Eastern Ontario, is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 WPBS Fundraising Auction. Each spring, the support of local community members and businesses plays a crucial role in helping WPBS continue to provide high-quality, commercial-free public media content to the region.
Bidding in the WPBS Auction is simple and accessible, whether you’re using a computer or mobile phone. To register, visit wpbstv.org/auction. Online bidding will officially begin on April 28, 2025. Those needing assistance or unable to access the online platform can call 315-782-3142 ext. 225 or ext. 319.
The Auction’s Online Preview starts on April 21, with new items being added daily. Items available for bidding include weekend getaways, local attraction passes, artisan pieces, Caribbean vacations, fine furniture, jewelry, restaurant gift certificates, and much more.
The live broadcast of the Auction will air over seven consecutive evenings on WPBS-TV, from Monday, April 28, to Sunday, May 4, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm each night. Auction programming will also be available for streaming on Facebook and at wpbstv.org. Bidding will close on all items on Monday, May 5 at 12:00 noon.

All proceeds from the Auction help WPBS continue to provide quality educational programs and initiatives at no cost to everyone across Northern New York and Eastern Ontario.
