WPBS-TV GEARS UP FOR 47TH ANNUAL ALL-STAR AUCTION

WPBS-TV, Watertown, PBS, announces the 47TH Annual All-Star Auction, which will air live April 22nd – 30TH, 6 pm to midnight on weekends and 7 pm to midnight on weekdays. Donations from local businesses in Northern New York and Canada will be auctioned off during this nine-night event.  Viewers will be able to phone in and bid on hundreds of items!  This year boasts the all NEW online buyer’s guide at buyersguide.wpbstv.org!  WPBS-TV will also be live streaming the nine-night auction at wpbstv.org and on Facebook.

MVP donors will be showcased each evening of the auction, along with specialty themed boards, including; Admission Tickets, Travel, Clothing, Crafts, a wide variety of Lawn & Garden items and much more!  The All-Star Auction also features the favorite Wheel of the Night and Community Chests, which are live auctioned every night at 8pm.  Tune-in to WPBS-TV for the 30-minute All-Star Auction Preview Show airing Friday, April 14th at 2:30pm; Sunday, April 16th at 3:30pm; Monday, April 17th at 7:30pm; and Tuesday, April 18th at 2:30pm; or view online at watch.wpbstv.org to get a sneak peek at some of the items up for bids.

There is still plenty of time to become involved in the All-Star Auction!  Feature your business to thousands of people across northern New York and Eastern Ontario.  A donation valued at a minimum of $50 gives you exposure that could otherwise cost hundreds.  Your donation is tax deductible and helps WPBS-TV purchase the programming that you love to watch on a station that you know and trust.  If you are a business and would like to donate an item, are interested in volunteering, or would like to provide additional sponsorship, please contact Peggy Brouty-Benton at pbrouty@wpbstv.org or call 315-782-3142 ext. 301.  Volunteer sign-up and donor forms are also available on-line at wpbstv.org/allstarauction.
