WPBS to Broadcast January 6th Congressional Hearings

WATERTOWN, NY; June 7, 2022 – WPBS is pleased to serve residents of Northern New York and Eastern Ontario with a wide array of news and public affairs programming. We believe that reliable, thoughtful and balanced news coverage has never been more important.

On Thursday, June 9th at 10:30 pm, WPBS will present the opening session of the public hearings held by the U.S. Congress “Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol.” Judy Woodruff will anchor the PBS NewsHour live coverage with contributions from NewsHour correspondents and expert analysis from guests.

Additional sessions of the hearings will be broadcast beginning on Monday, June 13th at 10:00 am, with additional dates and times to be announced. For more information, please check our listings at wpbstv.org/program-schedule.
