The National Association of Manufacturers, a group that represents American manufacturers, on Jan. 6 called on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Donald Trump from Office to “preserve democracy.” This followed the storming of the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump mobs after the President Donald Trump spoke to a rally of his supporters earlier in the day, urging them to move toward the Capitol as lawmakers were gathering to count the Electoral College votes.
