ROLE MODELS | Old Crow Medicine Show | PBS KIDS

Ketch purchased his first musical instrument, the mouth harp, on a school field trip in the fourth grade. He used it in a school play, which was his first time on the stage. Critter learned to play the electric guitar first. He loved playing the blues. Ketch and Critter met when they were thirteen years old and started making music together very soon after.

Their comfort with playing in front of people on a stage led them to form the band, Old Crow Medicine Show. Today, they play and tour all around the world. Ketch writes a lot of the music and lyrics for the band. He plays the fiddle and sings lead vocals. Critter plays the banjo, helps write music and sings too. They really enjoy making audiences dance, smile, clap and sing along to their music.
