Re:Dream Project | Week 6 Preview | PBS

A homeless teen turned community organizer, a domestic abuse survivor, a LGBTQ advocate, Detroit’s first Latina City Council representative, and a glass-ceiling-breaking filmmaker are the featured subjects of this week’s Re:Dream videos.

Re:Dream is an immersive, digital-first project taking a look at what it means to “make it” in the 21st century. Forty micro-documentaries from five different
cities tell the stories of individuals as they prepare for success, meet obstacles, and pursue their American dream.
The nationwide project, led by Kansas City Public Television (KCPT), is produced by fifteen PBS member stations.
Re:Dream aims to bolster community dialogue around the changing landscape of available opportunities in the 21st century economy.
