PUBLIC EYE WITH JEFF COLE, SPECIAL EDITION: PROPOSED MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE

May 16, 2016, Watertown, NY – Join WPBS-DT for a 30-minute special entitled “Public Eye with Jeff Cole, Special Edition:  Proposed Minimum Wage Increase”, Friday, May 20th at 8:30pm and re-broadcasting, Sunday, May 22nd at 7am.  Jeff Cole, morning and noon news anchor at WWNY-TV and host of Public Eye, will lead the discussion centered around the proposed minimum wage increase to $15 per hour, discussing the pros and cons, and its effect on local business and workers.  Guests include, Cheryl Mayforth, Director of The WorkPlace and Don Alexander, CEO of Jefferson County Economic Development.  Jeff also talks on location with Jreck Subs Franchisee and Treasurer, Mark Rice, and Unit Franchisee, Peter Whitmore, as well as new Jreck Subs employee, Jason Archuletta, and long-time fast-food worker, Maegen Granahan.
