PBS KIDS STEAM Kit

The best way to help young children learn is to give them a chance to practice new learning topics in different ways. That is why PBS KIDS creates educational videos, games and apps, and hands-on activities to introduce kids to new skills and give them a chance to practice those skills in different ways.

The PBS KIDS STEAM Kit uses this approach. The STEAM kit has been created for grownups and kids to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math (STEAM) skills together.

Along with a description of each weekly activity, below, you’ll find the related activity guides to download as pdfs to your computer or device.

Before you begin the weekly STEAM activities, we encourage you to watch our KICKOFF Video for a thorough overview of the project.

This PBS KIDS STEAM Kit contains a Science activity built on content from the popular PBS KIDS series, NATURE CAT.
