North Country Library System

WPBS-DT has long enjoyed a partnership with the North Country Library System. The North Country Library System, (NCLS) provides its member libraries, located in Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego & St. Lawrence Counties, with services that would be extremely difficult for individual libraries to provide on their own. Coordinating and pooling efforts benefits all library users in the service area.

The NCLS nurtures and promotes a culture for outreach and making books attainable by all through a variety of services such as:

WPBS-DT partners with the NCLS and its member libraries to deliver content such as
complimentary copies of local documentaries; schedule screenings of programs; implement
reading corners; develop summer library tours with characters; and, distribute newsletters, flyers
and information regarding educational resources available through WPBS-DT.
