The NewsHour Weekend program is heading to Washington D.C., where it will be produced by WETA, the PBS station that has been producing NewsHour for decades. It will now be anchored by Geoff Bennet.
WNET, the public TV station in New York, started producing the weekend edition of the venerable show in 2013 to report on all the news that doesn’t stop on weekends. The team is proud to have had the opportunity to carry the torch for all these years.
