Storyboards & Snowmen Writing Event

The Community Education Council of WPBS presents Storyboards and Snowmen: a creative literacy neighborhood event that connects families, schools and communities! Schools, libraries, homes, businesses, and anyone with a window can participate.

Starting January 4th, North Country and Canadian communities are invited to create a story with their family or classroom, post the pages in a window, and build a snowman to match one of the characters in their story.

Community members can then drive or walk by your building to read your story and be amazed by your snowman.

Make sure your story and snowman are ready to go by February 14th for the Storyboards and Snowmen Tour! Stories created by students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade can also be entered into the Annual WPBS Writers Contest.
