When Jaden takes Bianca birdwatching, she’s skeptical: birdwatching sounds boring, and it’s in a city near an oil refinery. But once at the sanctuary, Bianca is awed by the scenery and learns that many species of birds live there. They learn about the importance of improving and protecting wildlife habitats in cities—and that they can help birds by growing special plants in their backyard.
