Welcome to Camp TV!

Camp TV demonstrates hands-on craft activities in each episode, and here we share the list of materials to gather so children can follow along or create a craft on their own time. Along with a description of each episode of Camp TV, below, you’ll find the related activity guide to download as a pdf to your computer or device. Each guide includes the materials you’ll need, along with step-by-step illustrated instructions for each activity.

In partnership with the North Country Library System, WPBS’s friend Scarlett B. will be featured in the “Make a Splash Day” Episode of Season 3 on Wednesday, July 6th at 12:30 pm. Scarlett will be reading the story: SPLASHDANCE by Liz Starin, taped in April 2022 at the Flower Memorial Library in Watertown, NY.

Head counselor Zach is back with all new camp theme days, sun-sational adventures and challenges. Celebrate with some penguins and pandas, sing hip hop hooray, get loud with a homemade noisemaker, do a salad dance. Make an inside out sandwich and a “mini moody me” cup that shows how you’re feeling! Learn ridiculous magic tricks, meet a porcupine and koalas, strike a warrior pose, make a harp and a NY egg cream. Camp TV: Ep 107 – Celebrate Your Name Day

Our host’s name is Zachary, and he uses the nickname Zack sometimes. Make a name sign, read The Name Jar, learn what’s in a name! Meet macaws, play “Match My Height,” use vegetables to design a t-shirt, go on a simple machines scavenger hunt, do yoga dance.
