One in five jobs in the region are connected to agriculture, while water has been in short supply — and most counties voted red in this otherwise blue state. One farmer says, “I think everybody, including myself, was shocked that he was elected, but I voted for Donald Trump because he does give us a better chance of getting things back on track.”
