Watertown, NY – The fifth season of WPBS-TV’s “Painting with Wilson Bickford” premieres Monday, February 18th at 1:30PM. The 13-episode series, featuring an array of different landscapes and scenes, is sure to capture both the beginner and seasoned artist. In 2018, Create TV began national carriage of “Painting with Wilson Bickford,” a huge feat for WPBS-TV and Wilson. Create TV airs episodes on Wednesdays at 6:30am and 12:30pm. Viewers can download the materials list and sketches from wpbstv.org/painting to paint along with Wilson Bickford as he demonstrates his easy-to-follow techniques.
To celebrate Season 5, WPBS-TV is hosting a “Paint and Sip + Screening” event on February 7th at 5:30pm. Attend and watch a new episode from Season 5 with Wilson himself; after the screening, you’ll be able to participate in the instructional workshop where Wilson will guide you in creating your very own masterpiece while enjoying wine and refreshments. Instructional workshop tickets are $55 for non-members and $50 for members. Tickets can be purchased at wpbstv.org/tickets. In consideration of Wilson’s international fan base, WPBS-TV will be livestreaming the Paint and Sip instructional workshop on Facebook.

A Northern New York native, Wilson Bickford is a nationally recognized artist, author, and instructor who has conducted painting workshops for over 20 years.
