BRIT COM BLITZ INVADES WATERTOWN PUBLIC TELEVISION AUGUST 16TH-17TH

WPBS-DT, Watertown, NY.  It’s the British Invasion!  Well….almost.  WPBS-DT is presenting a two day Brit Com Blitz beginning Saturday, August 16th from 6 – 11pm.  If you enjoy British Comedy, tune in for an exclusive screening event of six titles:  May to December; Butterflies; My Hero; Moone Boy; Chef and, The Old Guys.  WPBS is committed to purchasing three titles out of the six, based on viewer’s support.  On Sunday, August 17th, WPBS-DT is pleased to bring back, by popular demand, a two-hour Eastenders Marathon from 5 – 7pm.  Sunday evening will end with a moving tribute to David Suchet in “Being Poirot”, a celebration of his infamous role for 25 years and his accomplishments in representing all 70 Agatha Christie stories.  For number of episodes, pricing and program description, visit wpbstv.org.
