Gregory Perillo's spectacular paintings of Native Americans grace the walls of many prestigious museums. One of his most famous paintings is "Brave and Free," which portrays a proud youth of the Blackfoot tribe. Perillo brought this young Blackfoot to life in this collector doll, and a generous WPBS supporter donated it to our auction. The doll's head, arms and legs are hand crafted of fine bisque porcelain and the lifelike facial features are skillfully painted by hand. In seated position, the doll measures 10 inches high.Perillo's signature appears on the neck of the doll to assure it authenticity. Doll comes with orginial tag of authenticity and box.
