Surrounded by turbulent skies and choppy slate-gray river, this magnificent Wellesley Island boathouse reflects the character of it's owner, George C. Boldt. Designed to house the boats that would deliver guests to Boldt Castle on Heart Island a quarter mile away, the boathouse has huge multi-level doors to accommodate the high stacks of the river steamboats. After years of neglect, the boathouse has now been restored to its original condition. Framed in a mocha colored walnut and double matted in white and steel grey. Framing courtesy of Timeless Frames, located in Watertown, NY.
