Inspired by the 1000's of Ian's hibiscus photos taken both in Florida and of the hibiscus in his own garden, Ian created this striking compostition. This original piece was painted on a black canvas using the wet-on-wet floral oil painting technique. This dramatic painting is filled with mystery and in certain light the background shimmers, giving the painting a three dimensional look. This is framed in an antiqued gold toned frame with white liner.
