301 and 302 - BUTTERFLIES AND DAISIES

The sight of a butterfly is a sure sign that spring is here. Wilson paints a beautiful yellow Sulphur butterfly about to land in a field of daisies. On Part 2, Wilson creates depth by adding the foreground daisies, and puts the finishing touches on the Sulphur butterfly.



303 - A NAP ON THE BEACH

A hammock stretched between two palm trees on a tropical beach is the perfect spot to relax.




304 and 305 - PICKET FENCE BLUEBIRD

A beautiful bluebird has landed on a weathered picket fence, welcoming spring with his song. Wilson shows how to block out the bird and the fence, lays in the background, and begins the fence. On Part 2, Wilson puts the finishing touches on the weathered fence and adds detail to the bluebird.




306 and 307 - DRAGONFLY

Dragonflies are symbolic and special to many people. They're often said to be the spirit of a loved one come back to visit. Wilson blocks out the dragonfly and blends in the background. On Part 2, Wilson crafts the blades of grass and adds colorful details to the dragonfly.




308 - OUT TO DRY

It's a sunny summer day, the breeze is blowing, and we're hanging the wash out to dry.




309 and 310 - WHITETAIL FAWN

A Whitetail fawn is ready to munch on leaves from a low-hanging branch. Wilson shows how to block out the fawn, and lays in the background. On Part 2, Wilson enhances the details to the background, paints the finishing touches on the fawn, and inserts in the low-hanging branch and leaves.




311 - MOONLIT BEACH

Wilson uses cool blues and grays to walk down a moonlit beach, as the waves roll softly in and beach grasses sway with the light breeze.




312 and 313 - EMPEROR PENGUINS

Emperor penguins spend their entire lives on Antarctic ice and in its waters. Wilson blocks out the penguins and paints the background. On Part 2, Wilson adds the finishing details to the background, and brings the two Emperor penguins to life, using color and shading to give the illusion of feathers.
