Antique Boat Museum: Preserving North America's Boating Heritage (DVD)

WPBS-DT extended their partnership with the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY in 2006 to bring an outreach campaign to our local community entitled History at the Helm. A grant from the National Center for Outreach will allowed us to extend our documentary about the Antique Boat Museum, The Antique Boat Museum: Preserving North Americaﾒs Boating Heritage, into the community more visibly.
For educators, WPBS-DT produced a Teacherﾒs Guide that accompanies the local documentary. This Guide, along with the DVD of the video, was distributed to all local schools and libraries in 2007. If a school is in need of additional copies please contact the station.
WPBS-DT and the Antique Boat Museum are proud to present this local history outreach project with the intention that the resources created will be longstanding and useful to our educators and community at-large.
