A Tour of Singer Castle (Documentary)

When the recipe contains a hauntingly beautiful one-hundred-year-old castle, secret passageways, suits of armor, the mighty St. Lawrence River, and tales of the Rich and Famous, you have the ingredients for delectable television.

Completed in 1905, Singer Castle, or "The Towers, " as its owner Frederick Bourne called it, was inspired by the medieval Scottish castles described in Sir Walter Scotts novel Woodstock. The castle, designed to be the familys hunting lodge, is five stories high and features several secret passageways. Produced by WPBS-DT.
