Broadcast Engineer

WPBS-DT seeks a full-time Broadcast Engineer. The Engineer will be responsible for receiving and installing all new broadcast equipment. Responsible for performing regular maintenance on all broadcast equipment as well as preventative maintenance. This includes performing regular software and hardware updates. The Broadcast Engineer must be knowledgeable regarding broadcast technology to effectively maintain equipment. The Broadcast Engineer will troubleshoot and diagnose video and audio issues. Additional responsibilities will include tower maintenance, replacing or fixing transmitting equipment, and studio equipment. Successful candidate must have a Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related field and have at least three years of experience. WPBS offers a generous benefit package. Volunteer Coordinator

WPBS-DT seeks part-time, entry level Volunteer Coordinator. Successful candidate should be organized and able to recruit, schedule and motivate individual, community and corporate groups of volunteers. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills, proper phone etiquette and be able to handle multiple tasks in a high-traffic, creative environment. Some evenings and weekends required.
