Niagara River Steelhead are plentiful and great fun. Here
Streamside host Don Meissner and guide Joe Cinelli check out a fat Steelie on a mid-march
day in 1989. Water temperature that day was 35 degrees! |
|
Here, Don's good friend and fishing partner John Clark joins the
TV host at La Reserve Beauchene in Quebec for some great Brookie fishing. John says Wooly
Bugger, Don likes the Micky Finn. |
|
And it wouldn't be a Streamside show without Lou Barkley. Here's
a great Beauchene Brookie. Careful Louie, don't drop him! |
|
The Streamside crew loves to travel to Lake Beauchene. Here Dick
Bengraff joins Don Meissner to fish smallmouths on the big lake. Dick brought Don to
Beauchene back in 1988, and the fish have been running scared ever since. |

After a day of fishing on Pulaski's Salmon River, Dave Johnson
(left) joins Streamside host Don Meissner and Earnie Lantaigne. Driftboats on the Salmon
are very exciting and the trip was a fun time. So, where are all the fish? They were
released to be caught another day! |
