Bill Saiff meets up with Captain Steve Siegman who takes the crew for some off-shore fishing at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Steve drives the boat into dangerously shallow water and a huge rogue wave crashes over the boat ruining all the camera gear. The next day they try again, and Bill catches the largest snook of his life.

1803 "How Do You Like Me Now ?"
Two of Bill's "Class of 55" alumni, Joe Biondolillo and Peter Michalzuk, return to Henderson Harbor for cold water lake trout fishing. Fast action and lots of laughs on this weeks show as the boys reminisce about their first time aboard the Rod & Reel. Classmate Dick Austin couldn't make it this year, and the boys continue to remind him that "he missed the boat".

"No Small Adventure" ("No Small Adventure" (Retro show #1611) 
Luc Robillard and Bill venture into a hidden lake on the Cobonga Reservoir in search of walleye and northern pike. Luc has to get out of the boat and push, pull, and even lift the boat, in order to traverse obstacles such as boulders and beaver dams. The pair also see a small moose on shore, another beauty of fishing the Canadian wilderness.

Young veteran Travis VanKoughnett shows off his piloting and angling skills aboard the Rod & Reel, but cries "beginners-luck" when a feisty Tana Taylor-Eggleston lands her first ever King Salmon. Add a one pound yellow perch, and a 4 pound bass, and a touch of innocence from a 10 year old character, and you have the ingredients for one very amusing Rod & Reel show.
