About The Show .....
Classical Stretch, created for the general public, is a new method of stretching the body from head to toe, performed to classical music. The exercises are safe, simple, and extremely effective. Benefits include increased joint mobility, muscle strengthening, and overall stress reduction. The exercises can be especially effective for those suffering from lower back pain and poor posture. Miranda has designed this program in consultation with a physician (one of Canada’s leading surgeons) and a physiotherapist.

If you’re not familiar with Classical Stretch, it is an effective total body workout that stretches and strengthens individual muscles. It is not yoga, tai chi, Pilates or ballet – it is a combination of all these plus specific scientifically developed complex movements and stretches that reach muscles and ligaments not normally worked in the average fitness program. Classical Stretch will help each participant gain a keen sense of body awareness and will teach them how to isolate specific muscle groups and body parts. Each isolated part is then scientifically stimulated resulting in stretched and strengthened muscles, and ultimately, a total change in the look and feel of their body. The look achieved by following the Classical Stretch program is long and lean. Most participants can lose between 2-4 inches around the thighs and waist. But here’s the trick: do it 3 times per week and you’ll see results within 1 month!

Classical Stretch not only slenderizes and elongates the body, it helps relieve back and knee pain, treats injured muscles, and helps reversal of osteoporosis as well as many other soft tissue related conditions. Along with helping and changing the body, participants enjoy Classical Stretch because of the emotional and spiritual element. The combination of graceful movements with tender music gives students a unique emotional experience lacking in the average fitness program.

With this new season of Classical Stretch, you can look forward to the same wonderful exercise program, with beautiful music and calming scenery, plus a more modern and trendy look - we hope you enjoy it!

Tricks to Improve Your Classical Stretch Workout:

  • Do it at least 3 times per week.
  • Hold your tummy tight during the entire workout.
  • Go at your own pace; improvement and results will come faster.
  • Concentrate on the areas being stretched as much as you can during the workout.
  • Remember to breathe deeply and as you exhale, focus on relaxing the muscles you are stretching.
  • Listen to Miranda’s dialogue carefully; she gives helpful hints and encouragements throughout her workouts!
