Dear André Fan: In addition to the good news of André’s return, WPBS-TV is pleased
to report the recent success of the premiere of André’s newest PBS pledge special, Radio City Music Hall, Live in New York.
WPBS-TV is certainly hoping you will consider joining
us again this coming year in a pledge of support for high-performance programming on WPBS-TV. As you know, WPBS-TV will, once again, have tickets to this wonderful ‘live’
performance of André and his Johann Strauss Orchestra in May 2008. WPBS-TV realizes that there was confusion with seating at the previous concert. The seats were not bad seats, but they were not what we have become accustomed to. You might say we were a bit spoiled. We have, however, taken precautions to ensure that does not occur this year. In other words, WPBS-TV has blocked 500 seats, up close and personal. Your past support and enthusiasm is what brought André to Ottawa in the first place, and your continued support will go a long way towards ensuring his return, and perhaps new talent we’re not even aware of yet.
